It took none other than the highly popular educational podcast “Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing” to bail out Apple when it launched iPod touch, with a tagline that goes-“The funnest iPod ever”. Now ‘funnest’? The word has got people talking, incidentally more about this grammar error than the iPod itself! For all we know, it could be just another tacit marketing tactic. But all the same, it’s got the crowd berserk.
Amazingly, Grammar Girl defends the usage, classifying it as an attributive noun, which, she explains, are modified by adding “-er” and “-est” at the end. Thus is her justification of “funnest”! And though she acknowledges the fact that there’s “a much smaller group of people who are willing” to welcome ‘funner’ and ‘funnest’, she is shrewd to predict that the use of “funnest” in this Apple commercial would undoubtedly swing the balance in its favor.

Apple is trying to remove old stock before they get the fresh stock. Hence cheap iPods not only mean poor in quality it can also be good quality in lesser price. Hence when you go for shopping buy a cheap iPod and not a cheap iPod. Oh! I am confused.
